Hello everyone! My name is Akash Arun Kumar Soumya and I am a director of technology at JRAD. Thank you all for taking the time to read our April update!

This month has been an action-packed one for JRAD and we are so excited to share our progress. As summer quickly approaches, we are deep in preparations for our 2026 JRAD Summer Camp! Our team has been diligently working on lesson plans, activities, and experiences to make this year’s camp as engaging and educational as possible for all of our delegates. We are so eager to welcome both new and returning delegates to a summer of growth, collaboration, and fun!

Along with camp preparations, we have continued to work on developing our CVCS lessons which have proven to be a wonderful program for teaching our students public speaking, critical thinking, and diplomatic skills. It has been a great experience for all of our delegates to be a part of these lessons as they have helped them grow in confidence and in knowledge. We can’t wait to continue developing these lessons in the coming months.

Additionally, we have many more surprises regarding our camp in store for all of you, so keep an eye out! We are so excited to share what we have been working on in the coming weeks and months.
